See this dialogue he has with his son in the movie for example:
Joey: What happens when you're wrong?
Nick Naylor: See, Joey, that's the beauty of argument. When you argue correctly, you're never wrong.
In another scene Nick Naylor during an inner monologue says the following:
“Most people have this image in their head of tobacco executives jet-setting around the world in their private planes eating farragoes, count their money. Not me. I like to ride with the people. Know your clients. My people cram themselves into a tiny seat, pop a Zanex and dream of the moment they can stuff their face with fresh tobacco. If I can convince just one of these kids to pick up smoking, I’ve paid for my flight, round trip.”
I am kind of at loss with words here. All I can say that it's a movie you will like and will show you that your lie can be another person's version of truth. It in the best way possible will show you all sides of a debate.
Nominated for 2 Golden Globes. Another 8 wins & 16 nominations
